IMPROVE YOUR LIFE - PART 2

1.  Don’t compare your life to others’. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
2.  Don’t have negative thoughts of things you cannot control.
Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment
3.  Don’t over do; keep your limits
4.  Don’t take yourself so seriously; no one else does
5.  Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip
6.  Dream more while you are awake
7.  Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need..
8.  Forget issues of the past. Don’t remind your partner of his/her mistakes of the past.
That will ruin your present happiness.
9.  Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don’t hate others.
10. Make peace with your past so it won’t spoil the present
11. No one is in charge of your happiness except you
12. You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
13. Smile and laugh more
14. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn.
Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and
fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.

DONT WORRY, BE HAPPY…

DON’T WORRY, BE HAPPY!

“Do not fret…it only causes harm.” —Psalm 37:8

Do nOt despair because of evil;
God will have the last word.

we must rely on God to have the ultimate say about evildoers:
“They shall soon be cut down like the grass”
we should take David’s approach:
[1] “Trust in the Lord, and do good.”
[2] “Feed on His faithfulness.”
[3] “Delight yourself also in the Lord.”
[4] “Commit your way to the Lord.”
[5] “Rest in the Lord” (vv.3-7).
Does it bother you to see how much attention is paid in today’s culture to people who stand for all the wrong things?
Perhaps it is entertainment stars who get the headlines while espousing immoral philosophies in their music, movies.
Or it could be leaders who openly thumb their noses at right living standards.

It would be easy to fret about this & wring our hands in despair, but Psalm 37 suggests a better way.
Listen to David’s wise advice:
“Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity” (Ps. 37:1).

While it is right to be “salt and light” (Matt. 5:13-14) in this tasteless,
dark world—attempting to counter sin by reflecting Jesus’ light wherever possible—
we cannot let negative forces cause us to live in anger and wrath (Ps. 37:8).
Instead, we must rely on God to have the ultimate say about evildoers:
“They shall soon be cut down like the grass” (v.2).
Beyond that, we should take David’s approach:
[1] “Trust in the Lord, and do good.”
[2] “Feed on His faithfulness.”
[3] “Delight yourself also in the Lord.”
[4] “Commit your way to the Lord.”
[5] “Rest in the Lord” (vv.3-7).

We may not like what we see and hear from some aspects of society, but remember this:
God is in control. Trust Him to do what is right. And don’t fret.

When tragedy, heartache, and sorrow abound, When evil appears to have conquered the right,
We center our heart on our Father’s great love, For He will bring hope in the darkest of night. —D. De Haan

Don’t despair because of evil; God will have the last word.

Whitney Houston - Will She Go to Heaven?

I do not know.
It depends on if she gave her life to Christ before she died.

Here is what I do know;
Whitney grew up in the Baptist church where she sang gospel music.
God chose her and blessed her with amazing vocal talent to sing love songs.
She had the best voice ever because of God.
God used her to bring LOVE songs to this world.
(Not sex, drugs, and alcohol that you hear in today music)
She had many hit singles such as,
Saving All My Love for You
How Will I Know
I will Always Love You
My Love Is Your Love
When You Believe
I Look To You

(Read the title and lyrics carefully - God’s word?)

She always speak of God in her interviews (that’s God). Whitney said,
“I think I knew then that my singing ability was an infectious thing that God had given me.”

Whitney also said,
“The Holy Spirit would speak to me and it would guide me. And I
wouldn’t know how I would get to this place or that place. Or how I did this or how I was go into the studio and sing again. But I did it.”

We all heard in the media that she struggled with drugs.
(The “D” does not like to see God’s good work)
Whitney tried her best to go back on the path that God had set for her
She tried to sing again
She also went to rehab several times.

Yes, I do believe that Whitney went to heaven because
I think she prayed to God and never forgotten Him.
I think God accomplished what He wanted to do with Whitney;
That is, providing love songs to this world.
He took Whitney just before the Grammy’s (God’s timing)
and said to Whitney, good work my child,
it’s time to come home where there is no more pain.
The “D’ did not win.
Whitney’s/God’s LOVE songs went #1 again after she went to heaven.
God works in mysterious ways.

Do you think Whitney will go to heaven?

Will you go to heaven?
Have you given your life to Christ?
Please share and comment
Thanks
